survey says

This is a weird one – - I stayed at a Marriott in Pleasanton CA a few weeks ago (that’s not the weird part), and received a follow-up email survey request. I always try to honor these kinds of requests, which may be slightly weird. But anyway, I went through the whole survey, and answered all of the standard questions (how was check-in? was your room clean? you know the drill….)
At the end of the survey, which was very long, by the way, I ran into the list of questions above. How weird that they want me to do a little psychoanalysis on myself – so that they can use it to get me to book more hotel rooms…??? Do you think they want to try to attract people who say they are the life of the party, or maybe they want to reject those kinds of people…??? I thnk it’s very accurate to describe myself as ‘dont shirk my duties’ – so that means I’ll pay the bill on time, right? Does it imply that I’ll drink the $14 Cokes out of the mini-bar? Or, does it indicate that I won’t steal the towels?
I answered in the affirmative that I like to solve complex problems. So, maybe when I get to a Marriott late at night, and they’re oversold, and can’t honor my reservation, they’ll just smile and tell me to figure it out myself! I can’t help thinking about these questions, because you’ll notice from the survey that I really like to speculate about things!
