I’ll take the frog….

I am NOT bashing Tiger Woods here (Elin already did that!), though I do feel like he breached the contract we had – he gave me inspiration and I gave him my time, attention and money.

Anyway, here’s my question: if you are a big-budget advertiser like Accenture, how much more value do you derive from a Tiger than a frog?  Well, clearly tigers are much more valuable than frogs, in most ways.

But let’s say this Tiger is a $20 million dollar tiger (or whatever the annual sponsor fee is), and the frog is free (or five bucks).

Which do you pick?

Kermit is cute.  As were those adorable Bud frogs, Bud, Weis and Er… and their sardonic lizard friend Louie.  A few of you might remember the video game Frogger, made famous by George Costanza on Seinfeld setting the all-time record.

Another important point is the whole idea of ‘boiling the frog’.  You know the science experiment – you put a frog in a pot of room-temperature water and then slowly turn up the heat.  What happens?  The frog toughs it out, takes it like an amphibian, sweats but hangs in there.

You put a Tiger in hot water, and you sure know what happens to him.  Run away, Tiger!

I’m going with the frog!

How about you?
