jim-holbrookJim is CEO of EMAK Worldwide, a family of marketing agencies including Upshot, Equity Marketing, Logistix and Neighbor. He was formerly president of Zipatoni, an independent agency that was sold to IPG. Prior to Zipatoni, Jim served in management and marketing positions at Ralston Purina (now NestlePurina) and P&G. Jim graduated from Washington University and Vanderbilt University.

Jim’s personal philosophy includes several lessons he’s learned the hard way: 1) results are only in the marketplace, 2) there are no answers, only choices, 3) becoming is more powerful than being, 4) nothing beats honest to goodness teamwork, 5) you can do well by doing good, and 6) the most elusive thing in business is to achieve ‘alignment’.
